Design System
Product Designer & Manager | Case study 3
This feature was created to dress the product for personality and brand identity in accordance with
the needs of customers and product managers to streamline the implementation process,
save programming time and better sub-control for customers in the product.
In this case study, I will bring insights into my work process, the tools and methods I used to implement
the white lable product, and explain my reasoning and thoughts behind the decisions I made.
White label design
User Research
Custom design
After the interviews with the product managers, I learned in a more focused way the needs of the customers who need to apply the app. Developing the Face ID and Digital ID on white lable is the best way to provide a software solution without having to rebuild it to suit customer needs, saving time and resources for both customers and supplier.
UX Challenges
Each brand has its own needs
-
Creating a central database for all design tools that can address the brand's visibility.
-
Replacing different fonts can impair the usability of the product.
-
Relativity between primary and secondary colour and branding with only one color.
-
Control over material design when app design changes.
-
Challenges with a development team to create a visible sub-product.
The Solution
White lable software
Creating a white label product is the best way to provide a software solution without a customer having to change the code in an unnatural way to the product.
Before
-
Customers received a final product with limited control.

-
The supplier made a different skin for different brand.

-
Work with team guidelines for permissible visibility changes.
After
-
The customer gets full control over the visibility of the product.

-
The supplier's working time has been significantly reduced.

-
The work synergy has changed from working together to providing support.

Features & Designs
The use of color and font type will be limited to selected elements that will drive the best action and usability for the product.
Choose your color
Building custom libraries will allow you to switch the app to one dominant color from a wide range of dominant brand colors.
Custom gradient background
Building custom libraries will allow you to switch the app to one dominant colour from a wide range of dominant brand colors.
Theme color builder
The color system allows to apply color to the user interface in a meaningful way to represent the brand identity.

Later in the development process and during interviews with product managers and customers, we decided to move from defining a primary color and a secondary color, to defining a separate color for the background, the illustrations and cta.
Choose font type
The font type selection system in the Sesame app allows access to an existing font database such as Google's or to use a unique font that will be embedded in the system code.
White label achievements
A frictionless experience
A white-label solution will allow the identity verification to fit into the existing flow without disrupting branding.

The web SDKs and native iOS and Android SDKs can be natively embedded and customised to suit any branding.
